Himavad Gopalaswamy betta - is a wonderful place for the nature lovers. its usually covered by mist during morning in almost every season. Experiencing the mist movements at this place is superb. It feels like the clouds are moving side by side to us. The mist moves with us and while we stop it peacefully touches us and move further. By around 8.00 am it will be completely covered by mist and by around 10.00 am it appears complete sunny. Its really one of the natural wonder.
It is a 90 minute drive either by car or by a bus to the top of the mountain from Mysore city. Down the hill we see some wild animals too which is the bandipur forest.
