This place is also called aremalnad (in kannada) meaning-the place which gets medium rainfall. So mainly Arecanut and Coconut are the trees grown. In between the coconut trees they grow sunflower plants, banana etc... the nature is beautiful. Sometimes they grow vegetables according to the season. The people there says that the rain fall is very less that the yield is becoming less every year.
This is very beautiful place. It is been surrounded by the small small mountains. Some of the nature, sunset and the sunflower plants photos are here. I love this place a lot where i have played a lot during my childhood. Arecanut is the seasonal crop grown here. View the processing steps of arecanut which we experienced recently working here. Arecanut processing. It was really fun for me since my childhood to wait and watch how exactly they do all the arecanut processing. Every year i used to spend some time during this season at this place and experience most of these things.
